With summer just around the corner, short shorts season is back in full force. Leading the charge is Matt Bomer, whose teeny-tiny yellow shorts are all the gays can talk about.

New pictures of Bomer in Malibu on the set of his upcoming movie Outcome have everyone’s imaginations running wild. In the pics, he’s wearing nothing but a necklace and a pair of skin-tight shorts with a severe slit up the side. Shots from behind also reveal that Bomer’s sporting a lower back tattoo for the movie. Needless to say, the gays are obsessed.

Of course, Bomer bared far more than some leg in last year’s Fellow Travelers alongside Jonathan Bailey. The series was infamous for its explicit scenes (including a much-discussed toe-sucking moment in the first episode), but more of Bomer is never a bad thing.

How will these beach scenes play into Outcome? The movie stars Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, and Jonah Hill as Reeves’ character goes on a mission to find and stop a blackmailer. We don’t know any details about Bomer’s role — but if the pics are anything to go by, he’ll definitely be a fan favorite.

Bomer and Reeves were also spotted filming together earlier this month, proving that Bomer’s character does, in fact, own clothes — for better or worse.

As summer kicks off, Bomer’s viral outfit could inspire other celebs to follow suit. (Will Milo Ventimiglia return to stake his claim as the king of short shorts? We can only hope.)

Outcome doesn’t have a release date yet, but it will be on Apple TV+ whenever it comes out.
