Drag Me Here

Trixie Mattel’s HGTV show might just be the stuff of gay dreams

Home renovations are no easy task. Sure, the finished product is glorious, but financial and physical efforts can leave a person exhausted.

But maybe it’s easier the second time around. Well, Trixie Mattel would know best and she’s ready to show off her experience in a new show.

That’s right, the RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars winner is getting a new show called Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home. And the fabulous drag artist is getting a network home in the process, putting her front and center on HGTV.

In the upcoming series, Trixie and her partner/co-owner of the Trixie Motel, David Silver, are putting their renovation skills to the test with their new home in Los Angeles. Already a motel maven in Palm Springs, California, Trixie and her partner David will revamp their dream home to be fit for a drag queen.

Building a property, nor being on reality tv are new to Trixie. After appearing on Drag Race twice, the successful drag queen has found her way onto shows like Queen of the Universe, Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, and her own show, Trixie Motel, which followed her and Silver’s development of the aptly named Trixie Motel.

While Trixie has carved a unique career in entertainment, music, and cosmetics, her resume in television keeps extending with the announcement of her new show. And maybe Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home will answer an important question.

What’s easier, doing drag or renovating a home? Guess we’ll all find out when Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home comes out with its four hour-long episodes in summer 2024.
