On October 3rd, Mean Girls’ Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was. It was October 3rd. And this year, the cast of Mean Girls is using the day dedicated to honoring the film to do something very fetch: raise money for relief efforts for the Las Vegas shooting that occurred over the weekend.
In a video for the fundraiser, stars Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese, Amanda Seyfried and Jonathan Bennet asked fans to honor the film with a $3 donation to National Compassion Fund.
“Guys, look, we know fetch is never gonna happen,” Chabert says in the video. “But we can make this happen.”
Out of a $300,000 goal, the fundraiser has already made over $30,000.
Thank you, Mean Girls cast! This is definitely grool.
