It seems like we’ve learned so much about JD Vance in the past month. We know he’s music lover, as well as a music maker. We know that he is decidedly not brat. And while we don’t know that he did make love to a couch, we also don’t know for sure that he didn’t make love to a couch.

But Vance’s recent gaffe tells us all we really need to know. During a recent campaign stop in Pennsylvania, Vance spoke in front of a gigantic backdrop reading “Kamala Chaos.” But as a recent photo shows, it just looks like he’s actually campaigning for Harris.

JD Vance for Kamala Harris? It’s a little late to throw your hat in the ring for VP, my friend. Bruce Springsteen appreciator and gay ally Tim Walz already took that job. But sure, if you’re having second thoughts about aligning yourself with the forces of evil!

Vance’s inability to be anything but an object of ridicule is really the gift that keeps on giving.
As one New Yorker writer said, Vance is pretty much covertly campaigning for Harris with every dumb, bizarre statement that comes out of his mouth.
The ineptitude…stunning. The idiocy…breathtaking. We can only wonder what new gaffe tomorrow will bring.
