This horrifying Elon Musk comment may have just tipped Trump’s hand

Elon Musk joins Donald Trump on stage Oct. 5 in Butler, Pennsylvania as Trump speaks at a campaign rally.

If you thought that the incoming Trump regime wasn’t already coming up with new ways to make our lives miserable, think again. A recent comment on an X post has our guard up—and for good reason.

Just a few hours ago, Elon Musk left a cryptic comment on an X post discussing South Korea’s president declaring martial law. The comment in question?

President Yoon did indeed declare martial law in the face of certain undisclosed (but easily guessed-at) threats from North Korea, but that’s not the issue here. The issue—as you may have gleaned—is that Elon Musk, who has become Trump’s lackey in recent months, feels like it’s fine to comment on this move in plain sight.

Obviously the threat of martial law remains far-fetched even in Trump’s America, but it’s clear that Musk is excited by the idea.

It’s crazy that we live in a world where we can instantly find out how powerful, horrible people feel about any given political move. It’s arguably even wilder that we live in a country where people have to urge the sitting president to put in safeguards to limit the president-elect’s access to the military.

None of it bodes well, and as usual, we’re terrified to see what comes next.
