Chunky bear beautifully recreates Jeremy Allen White’s Calvin Klein advert

Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear, went viral earlier this month when his Calvin Klein campaign hit billboards and YouTube.

If you need a reminder, you can watch the advert below.

Now, an enterprising German-based beer brand has rushed to make a short promo clip for its alcohol-free lager. And it looks remarkably similar to the Calvin Klein ad. The main difference is that instead of using an actor from The Bear, it uses a chunky, bearish guy with more of a dad bod.

Oh, and this one doesn’t just strip down to his undies. The alcohol-free drink is called BRLO NAKED. So he goes all the way.

Watch below.

The model in question is London-based Gerrard Woodward. He re-shared it to his Instagram saying, “Such a great concept for @brlobeer #bodypositive love note to Jeremy Allen White 🍻🐻❤️Had a great time working in Munich, Germany last week, thank you, everyone was so kind to me, I love this campaign so much!”

He also shared a mashup someone created contrasting the two adverts.

Gerrard, who is gay, told INTO he was delighted with the finished promo.

“I was in love with the idea right from the beginning. I saw the comedy of it right away and knew they were onto something. Everyone came with such great intentions. I’d already worked recently with Charley Stadler the Director, and the creative Reza Ramezani Chief Creative Officer at Deloitte Central Europe, came into it with the best vibes, which made me feel excited for it!”

If you want to see more of Gerrard, do give him a follow on Instagram. He shares images from the many adverts and projects he’s worked on. We’re pretty sure this beer one is going to win him a whole new set of followers.
