Back in March, a Texas State Representative named Brian Harrison decided he was going to sneak into a transgender conference held at the University of Texas. He subsequently posted his findings on his Twitter account in a long thread.

To start off, Harrison claims he had to sneak in, which is weird because this isn’t typically the type of event you have to sneak into, being generally open to the public. Maybe Harrison wanted to LARP as James Bond, he is in that age demographic of divorced dads who are obsessed with those films!

So what are his findings from the break-in? “The Texas Government is promoting a radical, liberal agenda… with your tax dollars.” He doesn’t specify which part of the government, because, from what I’ve been seeing, the Texas government generally wants trans people to not exist.
When attending a presentation, he claimed that he “listened to as much as he can handle”. He then set out to sneak into another presentation and didn’t bother to finish watching the rest of it. Imagine you’re at a town hall meeting and someone talks about lead poisoning in the water supply, and your Representative tells them, “That topic is too triggering for me. Can we move on to something else?”
He then starts posting images of posters for trans resources and how to use pronouns as if it’s somehow scandalous material.
Here he is getting mad at flags.
He then decides to visit the college library. Knowing these types of people are also the ones writing bills instituting LGBTQ+ book bans, you can just imagine how he reacts.
This one is simply ridiculous, because this is a poster for how to deal with pressure when taking exams, and he’s acting as if this is a symptom of the woke mind virus. This post shows how anti-human these types of conservatives really are.
Of course he ends the thread by getting mad at a poster for Black undergrad students and also posts the QR code for their website and email, uncensored for all of the MAGA supporters in this thread to see.
In a surprising twist, Rep. Harrison is one of the few MAGA politicians to admire a rainbow, as opposed to the usual reaction of having their heads explode like in Scanners.
