In a completely expected turn of events, a reproductive rights website has been completely scrapped as of Trump’s first day in office. If you’re wondering what Trump meant when he said that women wouldn’t want abortions under his presidency, well, it seems like he meant exactly what he said. How can you want something if it’s impossible to find any information about it?

It’s horrifying, but again, not surprising. “This was all outlined in Project 2025,” one X user commented. According to legislative tracker Guttmacher.org, “Project 2025 proposes several strategies for restricting—and ultimately eliminating—access to mifepristone, an extremely safe and effective medication used in the most common regimen for medication abortion in the United States.”

With the TikTok ban seemingly getting a stay of execution, talk of getting a VPN to circumvent the ban has quieted, but as others have pointed out, there are plenty of reasons outside of TikTok to invest in a VPN right now.
Luckily, the Center for Reproductive Rights website is still accessible, which can help connect users to healthcare in their area. It might not seem like the biggest deal right now, but removing access to one of the first searches that shows up when you search “reproductive rights” can and will make a difference in how people access their reproductive options.

Order your abortion pills. Aidaccess.org will send to all states, even Texas. The legal risks are entirely applicable to the person prescribing or mailing the pills, not the person who has the pills or has the abortion. **This may change.** *Order your pills now.* Two year shelf life.
