After Matt Gaetz’s withdrawal, conservatives are floating even more terrifying AG picks

We may have been (temporarily) saved from the prospect of alleged predator and future Botched subject Matt Gaetz as attorney general, but that’s not saying much.

Republicans are already trying to come up with possible alternatives, and each selection is every bit as ghoulish as the last.

Marjorie Taylor Greene for AG, and other terrible ideas.

It didn’t take much time at all for evil mastermind Marjorie Taylor Greene to enter the conversation…

Texas AG Ken Paxton—sometimes referred to as “America’s worst attorney general” is very much in the running.

With Matt Gaetz withdrawing as AG nominee the chaos clown show continues. Trump wants a sycophant AG, even more of a sycophant than Bill Barr. The next nominee will not be an improvement.

Of course there’s Florida judge Aileen Cannon, who refused to recuse herself from a recent case concerning the Trump assassination attempt despite being quite clearly biased in Trump’s favor. But some feel that Trump is saving her for SCOTUS.

Attorney General Aileen Cannon: tan, rested, and ready.

What about Ted Cruz, another terrible man who has no business in government? I mean, sure! Why not!

Who will Trump pick next for AG? Ted Cruz?

The truth is that any of Trump’s potential picks are likely to be awful. At the moment, we can at least rejoice that Matt Gaetz is well and truly out of the picture. Or is he?

Yeah, it's an end to the era of which a sexual predator was in consideration to be the Attorney General. Good riddance.
