Alaska flames ICE in searing Pride speech

Alaska Thunderf*ck made the most out of her platform during LA Pride. The Drag Race alum turned her performance this past weekend into a rallying cry against ICE.

In a now viral clip posted to Alaska’s TikTok on Monday, the Drag Race All Stars Season 2 winner spoke out on the protests currently taking place in LA. The video comes from Alaska’s performance during LA Pride, which she interrupted to call out ICE as a “terrorist organization.”

“ICE is a terrorist organization,” Alaska said, pausing for cheers from the crowd. “Human beings are not illegal. Due process is part of the f**king fabric of this country. Treating people like f*cking human beings is not f*cking negotiable.

“Pride is a f*cking party but Pride is also a f*cking riot, OK? Our ability to get together like this as a community, to stand in one place all together is very powerful, especially in 2025.”

The clip has now gone viral, with viewers applauding Alaska’s words.

“That’s how it’s done,” Drag Race Season 10 winner Aquaria said.

“Drag queens are always at the forefront for change,” another commenter said. “It’s always been more than just pretty dresses and makeup.”

“No WONDER they wanna ban these shows, the same being called out is the SAME ones who want this silenced,” another added.

The top comment so far summed up the situation perfectly: “Human beings are not illegal especially not on stolen land.”

LA Pride took place in the middle of massive protests against ICE and the presence of over 2,000 National Guards and 700 Marines sent by Trump. The aptly chosen theme for the 55th annual celebration was “Pride Marches On.”

The now nationwide protests come as ICE, acting under the Trump administration, ramped up immigration raids in California. Over 50 protestors have been arrested since demonstrations began last week. Despite this, even the LAPD has described the protests as peaceful.

While LA is the epicenter, anti-ICE protests have spread to major cities across the country, including Austin, Chicago, New York and Atlanta. The protests have now entered their second week, but the Trump administration is reportedly planning to conduct raids in California for the next 30 days.
