Big Freedia And Lizzo Came Together For ‘Karaoke’ And I Can’t Imagine A Better Collab

Big Freedia and Lizzo are two artists who fans could only dream would work together. They’re both fierce queer icons who just seem badass and like they’d be fun to be around.

Well luckily, our dreams have come true because Big Freedia just released the music video for “Karaoke,” which features none other than Lizzo.

The track is, like, exactly what you’d want to hear from this duo. The song is upbeat and has a saxophone — basically, it’s a bop. The video is a compilation of different scenes including moments in a lifeguard tower, people playing bingo and a people at the pool. Hands down the best moments of the video are the little clips of Freedia and Lizzo dancing together, shaking their butts.

Big Freedia has recently been in the news for not being featured in Drake’s “Nice for What” video — even though her vocals were in the track — and now she’s been featured in the “In My Feelings” video, though only after reaching out to Drake.

Lizzo’s career has been on the steady incline for a little while now, but especially noteworthy was her guest judge appearance on Drag Race where she was probably the best guest judge of the season.
