Charli XCX and Camila Cabello to Join Taylor Swift on Tour

· Updated on May 28, 2018

Yesterday Taylor Swift took to social media with a big announcement about her upcoming Reputation Stadium Tour: Charli XCX and Camila Cabello will be joining the tour as Swift’s opening act, and suddenly, this just became the Repu-slay-tion Tour.

“Hey guys, this is aReputation Stadium Tourupdate, and I’ve been wanting to tell you this for a really long time but, the opening acts on the Reputation Stadium Tour will be Charli XCX and Camila Cabello,” Swift said in a Twitter video. “So, I’m really excited, I hope you are too, and I can’t wait to see you, can’t wait to see them really excited just about the whole thing, in general.”

The real question is: Are gay people OK?! Are we holding it together after this news? We love T-Swift, but Cabello and Charli XCX have always been loud and proud allies of the LGBTQ community, and to see them all together is momentous. Cabello is close friends with the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer, with a brief stint as a member of Swift’s notorious “squad.”

Swift and British pop star Charli XCX are friends too. The British musician (neéCharlotte Emma Aitchison)had performed at one of Swift’s concerts on the last tour. In 2016, FADER published a hilarious anecdote thatAitchison shared about the days following the concert, alluding to a moment where a box of Taylor Swift merch was delivered to her doorstep as a ‘thank you’ from the singer. What can we say? Taylorloves her fans!

The Reputation Stadium Tour kicks off in May, and you can purchase tickets here. I doubt Swift will bring out superstar guests each night like she did on the 1989 World Tour, but I’m sure she’ll pull out all the stunts.
