Charli XCX Performs In Ed Sheeran Drag

This is the closest I’ve ever come to being attracted to Ed Sheeran.

Charli XCX is on the new episode of Lip Sync Battle this week, where she dons full Ed Sheeran drag. The British pop star poked fun at thesinger-songwriter with a very Charli XCX-esque performance of “Shape of You.” It’s the gender-bending performance nobody asked foror neededand yet, I can’t look away.

Sure, she looks like a Weasley that exploded. But she’s serving sexy, booty-popping choreography with a stage full of dancers. It’s the Ed Sheeran we never knew we wanted, and it’s the Ed Sheeran we deserve.

Donning rejected Pac-Sun board shorts, an oversized olive hoodie, and full ginger wig and beard, Charli drew ecstatic reactions from Rita Ora, Boy George, and Chrissy Teigen.
