Diplo Serves DIY Kardashian Klone Realness in Yeezy Parody Photo

If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past week, you may have noticed the numerous Instagram celebs (including Paris Hilton) doing Kim Kardashian drag. Kanye West has decided to “clone” his bride in order to promote Yeezy season six. Other models for the campaign include Jordyn Woods, Shannon and Shannade Clermont, Amina Blue, Sierra Skye, Kristen Noel Crawley, Stassie Baby, Sarah Snyder, Abigail Ratchford, Chinq Pink, Sami Miro, and Sahara Ray. And if you haven’t been living under a rock for the past decade, you know that’s far too many Kardashians in the world.

The concept is simple enough. As with Hilton’s photo, the models recreated a pretty recent look by Kim Kardashian. Donning a platinum wig with some variation of a Yeezy sports bra and sweat pants, they strut for a faux-paparazzi snap. At most, the modeling consists of getting out of a car, talking on a phone, or making a McDonald’s run.

It was such a simple concept, record producer and DJ, Diplo decided to give it a try. He paid hilarious homage in a set of photos, poking fun at the campaign. With just #YeezySeason6 as the caption, photos of him walking around with a cup of coffee, wearing a blonde wig are clearly a joking nod at the fashion line. Luckily for us, he forewent the sports bra and just went topless.

We smell a RuPaul’s Drag Race challenge coming on. Although, they already came pretty close with Kardashian the Musical.
