We’re hardly a month away from checking back into the White Lotus for Season 3, and HBO is treating fans to one special amenity: a Season 4 renewal order. Now fans are busy speculating and dream-casting for the newly confirmed fourth season.
On Wednesday, Variety reported that HBO has renewed White Lotus for a fourth season, just shy of a month before the Season 3 premiere. While it’s hardly a surprise that HBO is sticking with the show, given how much conversation the first two seasons sparked, the early renewal is a confirmation of just how much confidence the network has in creator Mike White’s vision.
RelatedThe thirst is real.
Back in November, HBO revealed that White had already pitched ideas for Season 4. Now, he’s not alone, as fans across the internet have come together to assemble their dream cast.

Since every season features a new cast of characters, many fans speculated on who these new faces could be. Their picks include Rachel Weisz, Jennifer Tilly, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Gillian Anderson, and all of the Desperate Housewives (or specifically Marcia Cross).
At the same time, a select few characters (Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya in Season 2 and Natasha Rothwell’s Belinda in Season 3) have returned to reprise their roles. Some fans considered who they might want to see brought back in Season 4.
Each season of The White Lotus follows the tense interpersonal relationships of different groups of privileged vacation-goers and hotel staff at an exclusive branch of the titular resort, usually opening with the revelation that one of the cast will die by the end.
Season 3 takes place in Thailand and stars Parker Posey and Jason Isaacs as parents on vacation with their kids; Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb and Carrie Coon as a trio of recently reunited longtime friends; Walton Goggins as an older man dating a younger free-spirited woman played by Aimee Lou Wood.
Season 3 of The White Lotus premieres February 16 on HBO and Max.
