We know that not all heroes wear capes, but what if your favorite hero actually does wear a cape? I’m not talking about Batman (capeless) or Superman, but A24 darling Florence Pugh, whose been known to pull off a pink tulle cape on the red carpet, and who is also standing ten toes down on her commitment to trans rights.

In the wake of this week’s many horror enacted upon trans rights and existence, Pugh took to Instagram to share a post from Liz Culley’s podcast account @coolcoolcool.
“Trans ppl existing does nothing negative to your life, you crybaby b*tch,” says the original post. Pugh went one further by writing that not only does trans existence take nothing away from anyone, it actually adds quite a lot.

Under the post, Pugh wrote the caption: “and then filling it with beauty, love, creativity, brains, colour, care, friendship, and the best outfits around” ending off with a yellow heart emoji.
