Portland-based queer Puerto Rican popartist Frankie Simone is debuting her EP, Love//Warrior, on June 1, and today, she’s sharing her new video for the track “Blow My Mind”with INTO.
“I wrote ‘Blow My Mind’ about my goddess of a wife, Che Che Luna, because I am in complete and utter awe of her and the magic she puts into the world on the daily,” Simone tells INTO. “Like, jaw-to-the-floor in love and inspired by this fiercely bold human that I have the privilege of sharing my life with.”
The video has Simone sharing a lot of screentime with Luna, as they dance flirtatiously and end up sharing some sensual kisses that Simone says is all based in mutual celebration.
“I not only believe that all women should be worshiped like the KWEENS that they are, but I really wanted to celebrate her and give a glimpse into our love,” Simone says. “We feel endlessly grateful, every damn day, to have found something so special. And all we want to do is share it with the world and let people know that love is very real, and it’s out there for everyone. No matter who or how you love, it’s out there for you.”
