Here’s how queer people are already subverting the government’s anti-DEI plans

As a part of the massive, punitive anti-DEI surge brought on by the Tr*mp administration, there’s now a convenient hotline for reporting any shady dealings at your workplace that might include diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Which is not only ridiculous, but disgusting! It’s bad enough that every company is symbolically erasing their DEI pages and ignoring past commitments to racial and gender equality in the workplace, you’re now expected to sing like a canary if your workplace is still committed to these things!

But luckily, we in the queer community know what to do with such bad-faith measures, especially where a tip line is concerned.

They set up a snitch line for DEI in the federal government. If you feel like sending your best copies of the bee movie script or some queer smut, have at it. [email protected]

That’s right: in a repeat of the great Bee Movie apocalypse of last year, trans folks are committed to clogging the anti-DEI inbox with silliness and shenangians. It’s called malicious compliance!

But before you send your latest AO3 fan fiction, spec scripts, and religious tracts to the hotline, remember to protect yourself. You know how we’ve been talking a lot about VPNs on this site? Well, it’s time to get yourself one. The Internet is only going to get Trumpier from now on, so having a VPN can’t hurt.

Another handy tip…

DON'T EMAIL THEIR REPORTING INBOX!! That email address, so you can avoid it: [email protected]
