But just in case you weren’t terrified before, a new story out of Massachusetts is here to drive the point home.
Last week, a trans man’s documents were sent back to him slashed and burned because they didn’t reflect his “biological sex.” We’ve already heard overwhelming reports about trans folks getting legal documents sent back with the gender marker changed to reflect their assigned-at-birth gender, but this kind of destruction is new and terrifying, especially in a blue state.
This news abruptly follows the reports of trans man Sam Nordquist’s torture and subsequent murder over the weekend.
