I’m saddened to report that once again Jojo Siwa has made the news, this time for an even more confusing twist in the saga of her sexual and gender identity.

Ordinarily, it would not be our business, or even remotely interesting as gossip. But since Siwa went on Big Brother, we’ve been witness to a barrage of confusing updates surrounding her queerness. While we know that Siwa now identifies as queer instead of as a lesbian and that she’s comfortable using all pronouns, we didn’t know that things were getting this heated between her and co-Big Brother star Chris Hughes.
Now before we get too crazy—yes, it’s possible to still identify as queer while being in a straight-passing relationship. It’s also possible that Siwa could end up identifying as trans or nonbinary in the near future. Their discussion of pronouns and identity on Big Brother seems to be swaying in that direction, and as we know, these things take time. Also, bisexuality is real!
Still, people have questions.
We don’t know what’s going on here, but rest assured this is not the last we will hear or see of JoJo Siwa’s rebranding/Big Brother arc.
