Kristin Chenoweth to Lead ‘Death Becomes Her’ Musical in Meryl Streep Role

Kristin Chenoweth is helping bring one of our favorite movies from the screen to the stage.

Tony and Emmy winner Chenoweth will bring Meryl Streep’s iconic movie role Madeline Ashton to life an upcoming musical adaptation of Death Becomes Her, according to Playbill.

Right now, Chenoweth is attached to the project, though no one else: the show has no composer, book writer or director.

For those who don’t remember the filmfirst of all, how dare youit’s about the rivalry between Broadway star Madeline Ashton and Goldie Hawn’s Helen Sharp. The movie won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
