Lady Gaga’s newest announcement may have her fans asking, “Girl, where do you think you’re going?”
According to the Associated Press, at an event for her upcoming Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, Lady Gaga announced that she’ll be taking a “rest” from music and “slow down for a moment for some healing.”
The singer released her fourth LP in 8 years, Joanne, in 2016 and is currently on her Joanne World Tour.
“It’s hard,” Gaga told reporters, referencing her health issues, “but it’s liberating too.”
However, she said that there should be more to look forward to than just new tunes.
“It doesn’t mean I don’t have some things up my sleeve,” she said. The singer-turned-actress recently shot a remake of A Star Is Born with Hangover actor Bradley Cooper. And while she won’t be appearing in American Horror Story: Cult, who’s to say she may not pop up for season 8 of the horror anthology?
