Waithe, Manning, Oliver, and Groff each got their own OUT100 cover, as well. Out named tennis icon Billie Jean King, whom Emma Stone portrays onscreen in this year’s Battle of the Sexes, their Lifetime Achievement Honoree, but she did not receive a cover.
Among the rest of the OUT100 honorees are journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, Transparent creator Jill Soloway, Emmy-nominated Handmaid’s Tale star Samira Wiley, HuffPost editor-in-chief Lydia Polgreen, motherfucking John Waters, and more.
