After a year of hiatus, bedroom pop sensation Pronoun has returned with her new track “run.” The dreamy strings and vocals this song offers resemble the likes of Tegan and Sara or HAIM, but with a unique lo-fi twist.
She tells INTO: “’run’ is the first original song I have released in over a year; it’s a taste to a collection of songs I wrote right after I finished my first EP, There’s no one new around you. This song in particular is just a ball of frustration. It’s about coming to terms with someone you loved taking the easy way out and running away from the entire life you built together because times temporarily got tough.”
Pronoun currently resides in Brooklyn and loves skateboarding. She even owns her own record label, Sleep Well Records.
