New Lawsuit Accuses Bryan Singer Of Sexually Assaulting A Teenager

· Updated on May 28, 2018

A new complaint filed against Bryan Singer, NPR reports, claims that the X-Men franchise director raped 17-year-old Cesar Sanchez-Guzman on a yacht owned by wealthy tech investor Lester Waters, whom the suit says “frequently hosted parties for young gay males in the Seattle area.”

The details are bad, so feel free to stop reading anytime.

The lawsuit says that Singer lured Sanchez-Guzman into a bedroom and forced him to perform “acts of oral and anal sex” despite repeated pleas to stop. Afterwards, Singer is said to have threatened Sanchez-Guzman should he report what happened, adding that “no one would believe him anyway.”

Singer “categorically denies these allegations and will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end,” a rep for the director said in a statement to the Associated Press on Friday.

Sexual assault allegations have trailed Singer for years before Hollywood’s recent reckoning with abusive men in positions of power. A handful of high-profile people have raised the issue over the yearsincluding Jessica Chastain, Evan Rachel Wood, and Noah Galvinbut Singer, who was fired from a Freddie Mercury biopic earlier this week, has only continued to keep working.
