People are gleefully cackling at Trump’s self-imposed stock market failure

Well folks, that man (Trump) has done it again (broken something important) and we’re responding in the usual way (cackling with schadenfreude.) We probably shouldn’t be laughing, because a plunging stock market is certainly not a fun problem to contend with, but if we can’t have the country we want, we can at least laugh at the country we have.

Bro is, in fact, tanking the economy, just like we knew he would.

That man’s whole idea about tariffs (obviously bad) is already bearing ridiculous fruit, in the form of the Dow taking a nosedive before our eyes. The best part? Watching it all unfold on the same screen as Trump tries to justify his absurd plan.

It’s the kind of edit that would make a Michael Moore fan leap up and cry uncle—the point simply makes itself. But an even sweeter detail is that Trump himself advocated—in the past—for his own impeachment in the present. Will the man take his own advice and resign?

Financial collapse isn’t fun, but it is a brisk slap in the face to everyone who voted for this man because they thought the price of eggs would go down. Keep dreaming!

At times like these, we must remember and honor the words of our patron saint, Beyoncé—for things to stay the same they have to change again.
