‘Queer Eye’ Chef Antoni Porowski Underwear Pic Stirs “Contrapposto” Spon Con Controversy

America’s favorite avocado-lovin’ member of the Fab Five stripped down for a brand new ad campaign. The internet’s response has been equal parts eye roll, thirst eyes emoji, and a quick rummage for an SAT booklet.

On Thursday, Queer Eye chef Antoni Porowski debuted his new Hanes underwear ad.

“Whenever I happen to pose contrapposto, I partner with Hanes and wear my Comfort Flex Fit Boxer Briefs they keep everything where it should be comfortably,” the ad said on Twitter.

Now, obviously, there’s a lot going on here. But, first and foremost contrapposto???

Several people also noted that Google searches for “contrapposto” went up since he had tweeted out the ad.

Porowski’s boxer brief brouhaha is just the latest moment of his ability to cause an internet stir. While the Fab Five came to us as a (very affectionate) group, Porowski garnered the most attention upon the show’s release for his suspect lack of culinary prowess.
