Gentlemen, time to hear RuPaul say “Gentlemen, start your engines” once again. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 has set a premiere date and it’s right around the corner.
RuPaul’s Drag Race’s newest All Stars season will air on Thursdays this season returning to the berth it occupied during All Stars 2, and abandoning the controversial (if highly rated) Friday night slot that season nine aired in earlier this year. The new season will debut January 25, 2018, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
A new promo VH1 released Thursday features grand dame RuPaul, as well as the nine announced queens competing for another shot at the crown. (A 10th queen has yet to be announced.) The trailer features all nine spouting off taunting taglines the kind of boasts fit for some of the franchise’s all-time best queens.
“Are you ready to go for the gold?” RuPaul asks in the new ad. To paraphrase competitor and season eight standout Chi Chi DeVayne’s answer, we aren’t just getting ready, we’re staying ready.
Watch the new preview on VH1’s website.
