The tale of the secretly straight twinkfluencer is taking the Internet by storm

It’s West Elm Caleb all over again…but this time with a twist.

Usually it wouldn’t be news that a young straight man is doing several women dirty—but in the case of political TikToker Harry Sisson, it’s a four-alarm fire. Why? Apparently because people thought Sisson was queer?

The straight reveal comes to us via the receipts of several different women claiming Sisson had a “roster” of babes whom he convinced to send him nudes over Snapchat. So, you know. Pretty much normal dude behavior?

The 22-year-old influencer—who met with Biden during the last administration—has been widely ridiculed by right-wing trolls for standing up for liberalism. But now those same people are seemingly thrilled that Sisson is coming under fire for having game.

Obviously this is a moment in time when anyone and everyone is trying to litigate the sexualities of people they don’t like, and Sisson is no exception.

Currently the Internet is divided on whether to call Sisson out for proclaiming himself to be a champion of women’s rights while talking to 11 girls at once, or to simply acknowledge the fact that while it’s not the finest behavior in the world, he’s a 22-year-old man who’s allowed to be messy and make mistakes. It may surprise you to learn that the divide falls across party lines. Republicans are thrilled to cancel the political activist, while Democrats are taking a more balanced approach.

The bigger question in all of this is: are we entering an era where twinks need to come out as straight? Fascinating if so. Who says we’re not progressing as a country!
