Horror enthusiasts unite! The queer community is bursting with thrills and chills after Final Destination: Bloodlines released its first official trailer. The series is back yet again to terrify us with the most absurd deaths possible.
The first teaser gave us a wicked glimpse into what could go wrong in a tattoo shop— just a heads up, it involves a person dangling from their septum ring, a circle of fire around the shop, and eerie music. Gulp!

If that weren’t enough to make you twitch, the official trailer showcases a seemingly happy family enjoying a fun BBQ in their backyard. The family grins from ear to ear, laughing delightfully and having celebratory drinks for coming together. However, in true Final Destination form, chaos ensues with glass shattering, a sharp, crushed beer can finding its way under the trampoline, and a beer bottle hitting a hose triggering some unsafe objects to fall. We’re teased with what seems like the first death of the movie involving a gruesome lawnmower accident.

The trailer soon reveals that death is after the family because of their grandmother cheating it—now it’s back with a vengeance.
There’s so much to love about this trailer, especially the series’ reference to buses hitting unsuspecting characters in the middle of delivering obnoxious speech. In the end, we see one of the grandchildren back into the street with a bus hot on their heels, followed by a title card.
We also can’t forget the legendary reveal of the late Tony Todd at the tail end! Despite his short appearance, it warms the queer community’s heart to see him reprise his creepy, enigmatic role in a final goodbye.
