This Barron Trump hot take is exposing his family’s dark agenda

Surrounded by family members like Barron Trump and supporters, Donald Trump makes his acceptance speech at his Election Night Watch Party at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in Florida after being elected the 47th president of the United States on November 5, 2024.

If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you might have noticed something peculiar: there’s a certain sound going viral and it’s not what you’d expect.

In the past week, audio of a young Barron Trump, complete with a Slovenian accent to match Melania’s, has gone viral on TikTok and is apparently being quoted in the halls of NYU, where the littlest Trump is currently a Freshman.

But there’s a problem. Because wait…are we talking about Barron Trump? The kid who allegedly slapped his nanny in public and (also allegedly) killed small animals while still in grade school? Yes, the very same. And one TikToker is here to blow the whistle on what’s really going on with Barron’s sudden virality.

“It’s propaganda,” explains TikToker @catnipbutter, who is absolutely right. It might seem like TikTok sounds go viral randomly and can’t be predicted, but when it comes to the Trump family, nothing is random. They’ve crafted a perfect (albeit weird and completely unappealing) image of who they are, and they’re trying to get us ready for another four years of chaotic branding.

“There’s no way it’s unintentional,” one commenter said, and we’re inclined to agree. Since everyone is sick of the sight of Melania, Donald, Don Jr., Ivanka, and all the other ghouls in the family line, it seems like the next move is to try and make Barron happen. But—much like fetch—it’s never going to.

“I THOUGHT PEOPLE WERE MAKING FUN OF THEM,” another commenter said. “OH NO I DIDN’T REALIZE THEY WE’RE LIKE AWW.”

I mean, you wouldn’t realize it, because who could look at a Trump and feel any emotion other than disgust?

It’s also important to look at who’s potentially behind this viral moment: noted UK scandal rag (and anti-trans platform) The Daily Mail, who started reporting on the sound when it started trending.

But as depressing as all this is, there’s one bright spot. One commenter recalled the moment back in 2020 when Barron allegedly told people not to vote for his father on Roblox and TikTok responded by creating the hashtag #SaveBarronTrump.

How quickly things change. These days, it’s we who need saving from Barron Trump.
