Trans comedian Ren Q. Dawe hopes to challenge anti-trans discrimination in his latest endeavor. Dawe, alone with several other trans comedians, will be raising funds for their cross-country protest comedy tour, Here To Pee.
The goal of this tour is to provide a platform for underrepresented voices in comedy to build awareness and shed light on challenges faced by trans people using one of the best tools for empathy: stand-up comedy.
As a bonus, the money raised will be used to support local LGBTQ+ organizations in each of the cities and towns where they perform, in an attempt to combat anti-LGBTQ+ legislation on a local level and hopefully inspire others to engage in activism within their communities.

Dawe stated that he wishes to be the first trans comedian to perform in all 50 states by the end of this tour. The tour will take them to some of the harshest bible belt states as a part of their goal to cover the entirety of the U.S.
The first show is set to begin on March 1st of this year at the Junkyard Social Club in Boulder Colorado, and will cover all the Western states that month including Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
Ren Q. Dawe is considered to be a pioneering figure in the world of LGBTQ+ comedy with their role as an outspoken trans rights activist being a huge part of his set. Ren uses comedy as a way to connect with people and enlighten them on injustices carried out against trans people, believing comedy can be a powerful form of resistance.
The tour’s lineup will also include other transgender comedians such as Mx. Dahlia Belle from the Netflix comedy special Gender Agenda.
Actor and Musician Ryan Cassata is also set to perform. Additional performers include Juno Men, Joe John Sanchez III, Fifi Dosch, Charlie Girard, Ally J. Ward, Aimee Herman, Roland Mechanik and so many more.
