This hilariously gay financial theory makes so much sense now

As the nation stands poised on the brink of totally (and embarrassingly preventable) economic collapse, we’re starting to ask some serious questions. Such as: was this really the plan all along? Does Trump indeed plan to sink the economy as he claims in order to “build it back up?” What’s going on? And most importantly: were pronouns in bio the only thing standing between America and total financial ruin?

Well, yes! The facts speak for themselves, and by “facts” we mean hilarious skeets.

Look, it’s simple. The minute we lost our integrity as a country trying to do better, we started to deal with the heinous financial consequences.

woke and DEI get removed, economy instantly crashes.

Pronouns in bio were keeping us afloat!

All jokes aside though—even if trying to usher our business practices into the 21st century wasn’t propping up the economy, there’s something to be said for treating people with care and respect rather than treating them as expendable political pawns. There is a relationship between the precariousness we’re seeing now and Trump’s commitment to being a raging transphobe. It might not be a perfect 1:1, but it proves something that the wisest of us already knew. When you ignore the needs of the people in this country, things start to fall apart pretty quickly.
