This saucy Timothée Chalamet photo is reminding the gays of something

It’s been a bumpy, but fairly predictable moment of rebranding for Hollywood ur-twink Timothée Chalamet. Since entering into a whirlwind romance with Kylie Jenner last year—something that came about completely organically and was not at all staged—he’s grown a tiny, natty moustache, donned a close-cropped hair look, and seems in general to be wearing more leather. Hell, he’s even been seen on an e-bike at the London premiere of his Bob Dylan biopic. It’s a far cry from the pasty, open-mouthed kissing pap shots of Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp from 2019, and it seems to be ushering the A Complete Unknown star into a new era of superstardom.

What to make, then, of yet another viral photo of Chalamet currently making the rounds online? In this snap, Chalamet can be seen posing with the Knicks City Dancers, and it’s reminding folks of one of the photos that sapphics born between 1987 and 1996 have burned into their brains.

Well, yes! It’s giving Kristen Stewart at Hooters all over again!

The same bashful celebrity happiness, the same stage picture, generally the same vibe. Life imitates art I guess!

There’s plenty of reasons for Chalamet to be excited: apparently he’s a long-time Knicks fan who grew up in Hell’s Kitchen and won a Twitter contest to see a game back in the day.

All we can say is…good for him! And even better for Kristen, whose expression in that Hooters photo will remain tattooed on our collective mind’s eye until the day we die.
