Trump campaign advisor Alex Bruesewitz took quite a spill at a Young Republicans Gala last night, and the press was quick to take notice. Shortly after Bruesewitz took the stage, he appeared to slur his speech before tilting and falling to the ground, and while everyone is scratching their heads trying to figure out what could possibly have happened, the Internet has a few sound theories. Actually just one theory, but it’s a good one. We’ve all seen this before.
Could it be…I mean could it possibly mean…you know…substances? We wouldn’t be surprised if so: this is, after all, the guy behind the r*cist “they’re eating dogs and cats” talking point.
Alex Bruesewitz, a Trump and JD Vance Campaign Adviser, collapsed on stage. The guy who was behind the “they’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats” lie demonizing immigrants in Ohio.

Bruesewitz was also allegedly the guy who suggested hiring comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who made that “joke” about Puerto Rico. Are we seeing a pattern?
There's been a lot of speculation about who was responsible for booking Tony Hinchcliffe, the "Puerto Rico is garbage" guy, for Madison Square Garden. This new report in the Atlantic says it was Alex Bruesewitz, "a terminally online troll and perpetual devil on the campaign’s shoulder."

Even funnier is the fact that Bruesewitz made an comment last year about Ron DeSantis possibly being on substances. He who smelt it dealt it?

We of course don’t know that this is the reason for Bruesewitz’s collapse—it could have been any number of things, including alcohol, a stroke, or a sudden shablam. At this point, we just don’t know. But one commenter really hit the nail on the head with this statement…
