Republicans claim they won the presidency because of their vicious, continued assault on trans lives and bodies, which feels…inaccurate. It is, however, accurate to state that they’ve been successful in drumming up fear and intolerance for trans existence across the country. And with Trump’s day-one order that seeks to abolish any evidence of transness on a government level, it’s only going to get worse.

This is what happens when you don’t believe in science. Because the order states that the only gender recognized legally for citizens is the gender present at conception (rather than at birth), everyone is female now.
At conception—meaning the fetal stage—all genitals are female, male genitals occurring later on in the process of development.

At conception, all embryos are female. So by executive order, we should refer to all Republican lawmakers and leaders as she/her.
