Lady Gaga has just about done it all. She’s released some epic music, launched an A-list acting career, and offered a platform for numerous voices, all while bringing queerness to the mainstream. So where is left to go, other than the bright neon lights of Vegas?
The Joanne artist and star of A Star is Born recently confirmed her upcoming Vegas residency via Twitter. She’s bringing a brand-new show to the MGM Park Theater, and she’s giving us a million reasons to go. (#sorrynotsorry about that pun.)
The rumors are true! I will have my own residency at MGM’s Park Theater. Get ready for a brand new show!! It’s been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I’m so overjoyed! LOVE YOU LITTLE MONSTERS WE DID IT, MEET ME IN Las Vegas!! #LasVegasGoesGaga pic.twitter.com/UhPdW5wgXu

Move over, Nomi Malone. There’s a new star in town, and she’s quite familiar with Versayce.
Gaga joins the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears with this next step in her career. We can’t think of a more appropriate locale for the club kid turned cultural icon.
Gaga’s going to Vegas with a new residency!! Hmm… maybe it’s time I go back for another one too?!? What do y’all think? #53X #ParisHotelAndCasino pic.twitter.com/b4KPNl9yk8

“It’s the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland, and Liza Minnelli. It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas,” Gaga said in a press release. “I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before. I’ll tell you exactly what I told my MGM and Park Theater partners you can count on this performer always for one thing:I’ll leave my heart on the stage every single night. Thank you to my fans for always believing in me. Meet me in Las Vegas, babywe did it!”
Lady Gaga is set to launch her Vegas residency at MGM Park Theater in December 2018. We’ve already booked our flights and put it all on black.
