Azealia Banks wants to get “Nasty” with Tinashe on a remix

Looks like rapper Azealia Banks loves “Nasty” just as much as the rest of us.

Tinashe‘s “Nasty” is everywhere and fans get enough. From the TikTok treatment to live late performances, fans are ecstatic that genre-bending pop star is getting the attention she deserves. Even Azealia gave ‘Nashe her flowers online.

The Harlem native took to social media to express her love of the Quantum Baby track. Azealia posted on Instagram, tagging Tinashe, saying “You’re eatingggggg. Congratulations mami.” She then followed up with another post, expressing her in being on a remix of the song.

“I wanna put a verse on that joint but there’s soooo much [bureaucracy and] hoops to jump thru,” Azealia wrote. “If it did get approved there’d be two months of incompetent music industry employees avoiding doing their jobs to catch the momentum.”

While an Azealia feature might not be in the cards, Tinashe has been asking online if somebody could match her freak on a remix. Perhaps Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, or Flo Milli are available, if she wants a rapper on the track. But if we need another singer-dancer entertainer, then maybe Normani, Kehlani, or Victoria Monét could do the track some justice.

Tinashe recently revealed in an interview that an Ariana Grande collab almost happened on her 333 album. So, maybe “The Boy Is Mine” singer could officially make the collab happen. The jury is still out on this one, but like Azealia, “Nasty” is our “favorite sh*t right now.” And if the track is any indicator of what Tinashe’s upcoming Quantum Baby album will be like, then we’re ready for it to drop too.
