This latest Beyoncé update has the BeyHive stressed out and here’s why.
Queen Bey dropped her Act II, Cowboy Carter, and we’re all yelling “yeehaw.” Her new era has fans putting on their finest cowboy attire and developing line dances as the world enjoys Beyoncé’s country era. But now fans are in a frenzy from this latest Beyoncé update.
Beyoncé now has a website dedicated to her Act II. The link beencountry.com (a reference to Taylor Crumpton’s Time Magazine article) takes you to a black webpage with images of a young Beyoncé singing at the Texas Sweetheart Pageant, a young Celestine “Ms. Tina” Beyincé (Bey’s mom), a banjo, Beyoncé dressed in an American flag-themed cowboy get up, and the phrases “This ain’t a country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé'” (the same words she shared in a press release). The Beyhive is struggling to figure out what this all means.
Entertainment with an edge
Whether you’re into indie comics, groundbreaking music, or queer cinema, we’re here to keep you in the loop twice a week.
Beyoncé already has a website dedicated to all things connected, well, to her. The site already has Act II promotion, including photos from her magazine features, public appearances, and images from the album. The site also promotes her perfume, Cé Noir, her hair care line, Cécred, and Cowboy Carter merchandise.
So fans are desperately trying to figure out what’s behind this new site. Some fans think that she’s prepping for a tour.
Others think it something else. Perhaps she’s dropping more merch or maybe releasing the long-awaited visuals?
And others aren’t even certain as to what the new site could be about, but they do know that they’re stressed out by it. Regardless, the BeyHive is ready for whatever Beyoncé throws their way, right?
Now, we play the waiting game. The ball is in your court, Beyoncé.
