Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s powers will combine again in their new single “Bongos” and the internet is in shambles.

On Monday, the Bronx-native took to social media to announce her upcoming song with the Houston Hottie in a post that’s sure to make bisexual Cardi stans proud. Both artists donned one piece bathing suits, heals, and curly hair in an assortment cotton candy blues, pinks, and purples, conveniently during Bisexual Visibility Month.

The two stars previously changed the game when they released their no. 1 single “WAP” in 2020. The acronym and ode to wet a** pussy was a cultural reset and with these two back in the booth for “Bongos,” it seems like they’re ready to add a new word to our cultural lexicon on September 8.

Cardi gave fans a string of singles after the release of her chart topping album Invasion of Privacy in 2018. The songs “Up,” “Hot S***“ (featuring Kanye West and Lil Dirk), “Point Me 2” (featuring FendiDa Rappa), and “Jealousy” (featuring her husband, rapper Offset) have kept name on the Billboard charts and on everyone’s playlist over the past few years.

Additionally, many of the songs she released had her as a featured rapper on the songs of rising artists. She made fun of the “Rumors” with Lizzo, she told us what she liked in “Me Gusta” with Anitta, tapped into her “Wild Side” with Normani, and “Put It on da Floor Again” with Latto.

If Cardi is going to do anything, it’s collaborate with other artists.

Of course, no one is going to complain about getting another Cardi song, but fans have been waiting for a follow up to Invasion of Privacy. It seems like we’re getting much closer to that than ever before.

In a recent interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica, Cardi revealed that the album was “coming out very soon.” Also, she posted a video on social to remind fans of that fact.

Now, with the announcement of her second collaboration with Thee Stallion herself, Cardi B once again sent the internet into a frenzy.

On September 8 the world will be blessed by the sounds of “Bongos.”
