While “Nasty” is our song of the summer, Tinashe just got the cosign of the year.

Tinashe fans are overjoyed to see the pop star get her flowers for her viral hit “Nasty.” The house-infused pop track spawned a viral dance trend, was just performed on late night television, and officially hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 90. It’s her first solo placement on the chart, which is big feat for an independent artist. Now, it seems that two of music’s biggest stars have “Nasty” on the brain too.

While we keep streaming “Nasty,” it looks like Janet Jackson has been listening too. The megastar, who Tinashe gave a tribute to back in 2015, performed her iconic song “Nasty” at her recent concert, with Tinashe’s song mixed into it. Pretty iconic behavior, if you ask us.

And now, even Beyoncé is on the “Nasty” bandwagon. The superstar recently shared a video for her haircare line Cécred on Instagram with Tinashe’s song as the backing track. The people in the video even did the viral “Nasty” dance too.

Tinashe went on record to talk about Beyoncé comparisons when she first started her career and discussed how she looks up to her. So this is a full circle moment for her.

It’s obviously a lot of pressure because she’s an amazing artist but I think you can only just take it as a compliment,” Tinashe said for Jet Magazine in 2016. “I think she’s an incredible woman that I definitely look up to in a lot of ways.”

Tinashe’s lead single to her upcoming album Quantum Baby has the internet in a chokehold and fans are incredibly excited for her success.

If Tinashe’s “Nasty” is a taste of what’s to come on Quantum Baby, consider us impatiently waiting for it to launch.
