Todrick Hall released a new album last week entitled Icon. Its arrival was heralded last week with the release of a video for the title track. However, Hall left fans gasping after he decided to drop the visual for another track yesterday.

This song is called “Flex” and it’s about getting off on guys flexing their muscles. Appriopriately enough, the accompanying video is definitely Hall’s hottest yet.

The visual features such a large number of bare backsides in jockstraps, bouncing pecs and steamy locker room action. So much so, we’re not even going to embed it here. However, you can check out the video for “Flex” on YouTube.

A couple of screengrabs give an idea of what to expect… just choose wisely where you decide to watch the video. As one well-liked comment on YouTube articulated: “Todrick, I’m in the library over here hiding my phone! I LOVE IT!”

It’s definitely a steamier offering than “Icon (Dance IV Life)”, which featured Hall, 39, in drag and an army of muscled backing dancers in heels and leotards. You can check that out below.

‘American Idol’ and ‘Burlesque’

Hall found national fame with his appearance on American Idol in 2009. However, he’d already enjoyed some success before this with shows such as The Color Purple

In a social media post earlier this year, Hall revealed he’d taken a female friend along to the Idol audition and not his boyfriend as he felt self-conscious at the time about being perceived as gay.  He worried it would hamper his chances on the show.

Hall made it through to the final 16. He was eliminated, along with three other contestants, in March 2010. However, since that time he has enjoyed a loyal following and continued success. He has appeared in several shows, released seven studio albums, and undertaken world tours. He has appeared on shows such as The Masked Singer and The Real Friends of WeHo.

Besides the release of Icon, he’s gearing up for another busy year. He’s been cast in the world premiere of Burlesque The Musical, based on the Cher/Christina Aguuilera movie of the same name. The show premieres in Manchester, England, on June 13, before going to Glasgow and then London’s West End.
