72-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Homophobic Attack on Black Female Soldiers at Georgia Restaurant

· Updated on May 29, 2018

Southern hospitality was not an option for one Southern woman.

Judy Tucker, 72, and her son Robbie began to verbally assault two black women at a Cheddar’s restaurant in Macon, Georgia, over a handicap accessible parking spot. Video of the confrontation, uploaded on April 15, 2018, went viral on Sunday evening and has already garnered over 75,000 views.

According to the witness who uploaded the video, Tucker followed the two unnamed women into the restaurant and began verbally abusing them and noting they were black lesbians, shouting to them that she didn’t know “the military lets lesbians serve.” The two black women were dressed in army fatigues.

Eyewitnesses also said that the mother and son called the black women “gay black bitches.”

When one of the black women takes out her camera to record the harassment she’s receiving from 72-year-old Tucker, Tucker begins to thrash her arms around, saying the woman doesn’t have the right to take a picture of her. One of the women holds Tucker back. The other woman, who was holding the phone, informs Tucker that she is pregnant. However, that doesn’t stop Tucker from continuing to assault her physically.

According to Popular Military, Tucker was arrested and booked into Bibb County jail, then released three hours later on $650 bail.
