A photograph of Donald Trump and Britain’s Prince William has gone viral after appearing on social media.

Both men were in France on Saturday for the official opening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

The pic of them together shows Prince William to be taller. Reverend Daniel Brereton, a priest in the Anglican Church of Canada, reshared it to X.

“Trump says he is 6’3,” said Father Brereton. “Prince William is “also” 6’3. What a liar the Prince of Wales is. 🙄🙄”

The joke, of course, is that it’s maybe not Prince William lying about his height.

Brereton’s tweet has had over 45k likes since appearing on Saturday. In the replies, some agreed that Donald Trump is not 6’3”.

However, many were quick to defend Donald Trump. Some audaciously claimed it was down to the camera angle.

Many others said that Trump, at 78, had likely shrunk with age. Although this is probably true, Trump has never said he’s anything but 6’3”.

Brereton is a rector of the parish of St. John the Baptist (Dixie) in Mississauga, Ontario. It lies west of Toronto. Ordained for 26 years, he’s been with St John’s for 11 years. He’s been married to his husband for the past ten years.

He has long advocated for Christians to embrace LGBTQ+ people.

Notre Dame officially reopened on Saturday, five years after it suffered extensive fire damage. President-Elect Trump mingled with other world dignitaries at the event and held behind-closed-door meetings with some, including Prince William and Ukraine’s President Zolensky.

He then quickly used the event to try and sell more of his own-brand perfumes. He posted to social media a photo of him and Jill Biden at Notre Dame, suggesting she was drawn by his aroma.
