Marjorie Taylor Greene’s most iconic rival just won reelection

Donald Trump may have won the presidential election, but Democrats did win plenty of down-ballot races throughout America — including reelection for the representative behind one of history’s most iconic political disses.

We’re speaking, of course, about Jasmine Crockett, who’s represented Texas’ 30th congressional district since winning in 2022. This May, she found herself in the national spotlight when she and infamous Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene exchanged some heated words during a hearing.

First, Greene insulted Crockett’s appearance, saying, “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

When the dust settled, Crockett fired back with an innocent question for the hearing committee’s chairman: “If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach blonde bad built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”

Near instantly, Crockett’s lethal read of Greene went viral, getting the meme treatment along with a remix or two.

On Tuesday night, Crockett kept up her iconic behavior by winning reelection with 84.8% of the vote, a landslide over her Libertarian opponent Jrmar Jefferson.

“Let the MAGA TEARS flow!!!!” Crockett wrote on social media after winning her seat. “About 7 mins after the polls closed the race was called for me! I’m heading back to DC!!!”

Supporters of Crockett across the internet quickly congratulated her, saying how wonderful it is to have someone like her who will speak their mind representing us in Congress.

Unfortunately, Crockett won’t be heading back to D.C. alone. Greene also won re-election, meaning she’ll hold her seat in the House for the third consecutive term. But with Crockett there too, there could be an upside: “bleach blonde bad-built butch body” could have a sequel in store.
