If you’ve spent any time on social media lately, you’ve no doubt seen gay guy after gay guy claiming that some random figure “bred” them. Though the scenarios have gotten more and more outlandish, they all trace back to one user’s now infamous post-workout hookup.
On January 6 — a fitting date for chaos to break out — X user @twunkified shared a moment that had made their morning. “The instructor in this morning’s EQX class told me I had impeccable form and called me Good Boy 🥹 I think I might be in love,” he wrote.
Less than six hours later, he returned with an update: “Update: he just bred me 🤭🤭,” he wrote in a post that’s since amassed 3.9 million views.

Did @twunkified actually hook up with his Equinox instructor, or was he fabricating a story for a little bit of internet clout? There’s no way to be sure — but regardless of the story’s veracity, it launched a meme that’s taking over the gay internet.

@twunkified, for his part, maintains that the story is absolutely true. “Seriously have y’all never met a guy at the gym and brought him home to have sex 😭😭 this is not a unique experience,” he explained after another user accused him of “lying for engagement.”
“This is like the 3rd PT I’ve f*cked from my *very* gay gym, he hit on me in the class and I took his advances,” he added.
But sadly, he may not find a happy ending with his instructor. “He found the tweet yall,” @twunkified lamented in a recent post. “my personal trainer husband fantasy is GONE.” Such is the cost of fame.
