Siri weighs in on gay marriage and the response is shocking

Apple’s digital assistant has some interesting thoughts on gay marriage.

When Siri was first introduced in 2011 by Apple, people couldn’t get enough of asking it different questions. Siri was designed to answer questions, offer recommendations, and perform a variety actions upon the users request. Literally, Siri was designed to turn your phone, tablet, and/or computer into your personal assistant.

Now, for many Apple users, Siri has become a standard part of life. So much so this family of content creators asked Siri’s thoughts on gay marriage. Interestingly, her response was not on our 2024 bingo card.

Content creators Rainbow Dads (an account that follows gay parents Corey and Rocco, and their son Forge) chatted with Siri about her thoughts on gay marriage with one simple question.

“Siri do you believe in gay marriage?” asked Rocco.

And what did Siri have to say in response?

“Hmm, I don’t have an answer for that,” Siri replied. “Is there something else I can help you with?”

Actually, yes, Siri. You can help by not deflecting the question. Forge noticed Siri’s aversion to answering the question and had his own deduction.

“Siri is homophobic,” Forge said. “Hey Siri, are you homophobic?”

Straight to the point, but what did Siri have to say?

“I think of everyone as equals and it’s nice when humans do the same,” Siri replied.

But Forge was not going to let Siri get away with that response.

“No. I’ll take that as ‘what’s that mean though?'” Forge said. “I’ll take that as homophobic.”

Case closed. While Siri’s response needs some work (the ball is your court Apple), this family trio continues to fill the internet with hilarious videos of their family dynamic. While Forge may be calling out Siri, he loves to call out his parents for their shenanigans as well, like in these videos below.

Siri, nor parents, are safe from Forge’s questioning and we stan.
