If wearing a fake sling and lying about being the victim of a hate crime sounds to you like something a cartoon villain would do, it won’t surprise you to learn that that’s precisely Nancy Mace’s latest move—allegedly. The Congressional Cruella spent the past few weeks trying to force Congresswoman Sarah McBride to use the wrong bathroom and she’s not stopping there. She clearly won’t be satisfied until her victim narrative overwrites the truth, which is that nothing actually happened, according to a recent report.
RelatedThe ban relates to Senate Bill 99, which was signed into law by Gov. Greg Gianforte.
It started two days ago, when Mace went on X to claim that she was attacked by a “pro-trans guy.” There was only one problem—she seemingly forgot to reply to a tweet calling for more details from an alt account.

Whoops! According to NBC News, 31-year-old Elliott Hinkle, a queer youth advocate and activist who was at the event where Mace claimed her assault happened, saw the entire interaction go down and challenged Mace’s version of events.
“I watched that interaction happen,” Hinkle told NBC, speaking of the seemingly friendly handshake between Mace and her alleged assaulter James McIntyre, another foster youth advocate. “I saw a handshake and a conversation and a very normal thing for an advocate to come to D.C. and do. She didn’t even seem to have, like, that big of a reaction to him. She just sort of made, like, almost like a tiny shock face, and then she left the room.”
So where did the sling and the story about the assault come from? Possibly from Mace’s own imagination.
That wasn’t the only one…

The person who supposedly “assaulted Nancy Mace” was just a foster youth advocate who literally did nothing more than shake her hand. Wow. imprintnews.org/top-stories/…

Again, there’s absolutely nothing surprising about this—it’s straight out of the white woman playbook. But it’s still a bold move to claim that you were assaulted in front of several witnesses who can allegedly claim that you weren’t assaulted, not to mention posting in the third person about the event afterward.
If you were still wondering if Mace had any shame, the answer is a clear no.
