Ate That

What do Christina Aguilera, Latto, and Grubhub have in common?

Christina Aguilera and Latto know that their fans crave their music. And when they drop a teaser to anything, they know it’s going to wet their fans’ appetite.

So when they started dropping hints at a collaboration, the internet needed the deets on how to get a taste. What is it a new song or was it a new campaign? Well, it was both.

Fresh on the heels of her Las Vegas residency announcement, the pop icon and one of rap’s brightest stars jumped into UK-based food delivery app Just Eat’s (the owner of Grubhub) latest chapter of the “Did Somebody Say” campaign in the most fabulous way possible. In a new video, Christina and Latto, flanked by dancers in Just Eat uniforms, rap about takeout, sing opera with sky high vocals, and overall, leave no crumbs.

Styled as baroque operatic divas, Christina and Latto follow in the footsteps of Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry as the music industry’s latest to work with Just Eat. Neither artist shies away from collaborating with other entertainers and both gushed about working with each other.

“I had so much fun combining different music styles alongside my girl Latto for Just Eat Takeaway.com,” Christina said. “With non-stop laughter and love, we had the best time bringing this project to life.”

And the love was shared with Latto.

“When I heard about the opportunity to work with Just Eat I was actually abroad on tour using the app,” Latto said. “It was a no-brainer for me especially with the iconic Christina Aguilera involved.”

Of course the internet loved it.

Let’s just say the video left us hungry, but can agree that Christina and Latto ate that.
