Here’s everything gay that went down at the “bisexual Oscars”

Last night, Aidy Bryant said what everyone was thinking when she officially dubbed the Independent Spirit Awards the “Bisexual Oscars.” With dedicated categories for “most rushed CGI” and “best French dog in a drama,” the IFC-hosted award show proved itself to be for the gays only.

Host Aidy Bryant set the stage perfectly by showing up in a Charles Melton heartthrob tee—and that was far from the gayest thing that went down at the Indys last night.

For one thing, Melton returned the favor:

In a year that gave the gays May December, Bottoms, and Saltburn, dues were paid.

Lily Gladstone served as honorary chair for the event.

May December finally got its flowers…

Messi the dog took home the gold…

Gay Broadway it-couple Ben Platt and Noah Galvin posed as Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy…

Celine Song got her dues…

Nick Offerman said of his “The Last of Us” performance, “it’s not a gay story, it’s a love story,”…

Kelly Reichardt addressed the genocide in Gaza, as well as the Free Palestine protests going on right outside the award venue.

Dominic Sessa won an award, and our hearts

All in all, another magical night of bisexuality.
